New Sustainable Design and Construction Certificate Launched

Gwinnett Tech has added a new certificate option to its Commercial Construction Management program – Sustainable Design and Construction.

This one semester program provides students the skills to apply the sustainable, “green” design and construction practices in demand today.

“Green building practices is an evolving focus of our industry and a vital skillset for today’s commercial construction pros,” explains David Barrett, Commercial Construction Management program director.  “This provides students a marketable skill to take to the workplace.”

The program also prepares students for the LEED Green Associate credentialing exam, and these courses apply to the associate degree program in Commercial Construction Management as well.
