Gwinnett Tech Photography Program Hosts Portfolio Show

The 2012 graduating seniors of Gwinnett Tech’s Photography program will display their work with a portfolio presentation at ART Station in Stone Mountain, beginning with an opening event on Sat., Aug. 25, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

The portfolio presentation will consist of work from the Photography program’s 23 graduating seniors including portrait, still life, photojournalism, landscape and fine arts projects from each student. The show will also feature a series of Cinemagraphs created by the students. Cinemagraphs can best be described as moving still images in which a subtle and repeated movement occurs.

The portfolio presentation and Cinemagraphs will continue at ART Station through Oct. 27 and will then move to Gwinnett Tech’s campus Media Gallery on Nov. 1 for additional public viewing.

Gwinnett Tech offers an associate degree and diploma in Photography plus a certificate program for Digital Imaging Specialist.
